Flight Sim Versions 1 – 4 had some failures and some successes. They helped me figure out what to focus on:
- enough switches/controls to fly without mouse or keyboard – once on the runway, they get stowed
- simulator software agnostic – no special scripting languages or plugins
- sturdy as heck – anybody climbs in/out and nothing breaks
- room for upgrades – get the minimum stuff working, then fill the empty slots later
